About me

I have always loved the human body. Using it, watching it, studying it, understanding all of the amazing things it does every moment of every day. Unconsciously at first, I began learning about it at a very young age, through the books I read, and the activities I took part in. In high school I had my first class dedicated to studying the human body in movement and it sparked an interest that stays with me to this day.

The learning may have been unconscious, but I kept very active as a child, and later as an adult, playing organized sports, doing yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong, weight training, walking, running, dancing (a lot!).  learned the importance of staying healthy in both body and mind to fully enjoy all of my beautiful projects. While I studied at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and at École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, and while I toured the world as a professional dancer for over a decade, it was always very important to me to keep my body and spirit both strong and supple. One of the tools I used to maintain my optimal conditioning was self-massage, and I would exchange tips, tricks and knowledge with my colleagues.

After I realized how rewarding it felt to help people through massage and that massage was a great complement to the rigorous demands we place on our bodies, I decided to study Kinetic Swedish Massage™ at Kiné-Concept. Having completed that program as well as a program in Sports Massage, I continue taking different classes to learn new techniques and new ways of looking at the body (peri-articular work, deep tissue, etc.).

My focus in massage is your well-being. Each person is different and so is each massage. From one day to the next the body adapts. We decide together what the best massage will be for you, today.
